School is in full swing and we are CUB SCOUTING. So far this fall we have recruited over 70 new CubScouts and Leaders. The District is well on its way to show some growth. I am so proud of all of your efforts to keep scouting alive in the Longhorn District. 

The District would like to welcome Mindi Chaffin, as our new District Commissioner. She is getting her feet wet with all the other stuff that she has going on, Den leader, mother. Those two jobs them selves take up so much time. We are moving forward with our fall time events, please check out the council calender for event date and time.
